An iClicker is a wireless, voting device (student response system) that allows instructors and students to dynamically interact through questions and answers in real time. Through an integration with Blackboard, iClicker polling data can be uploaded and synced with the Blackboard Grade Center.
Respondus (Exam Creator and LockDown Browser)
Respondus 4.0 is a powerful software tool for creating and managing exams that can be published directly to Blackboard. Respondus users enjoy the ability to create assessments offline and an expanded number of question types (including calculated an algorithmic format). After setup, Respondus enables one-click uploading to Blackboard courses.
Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within Blackboard. When students use Respondus LockDown Browser, they are unable to print, copy, go to another URL or access other applications. When an assessment is started, students are locked in it until they submit the assessment for grading.
