Recent Blackboard Collaborate Updates

Wednesday, March 15, 2017

Blackboard has released updates to Blackboard Collaborate for March 2017. The most notable enhancement is the added ability to keep the Participants Panel open in the Main Stage through the new detach feature. This allows Moderators to monitor Participants while participating in Chat and presenting content.

There are two ways that you can detach the Participants Panel:

1. Open the Collaborate Panel. Drag-and-drop the Participants icon to the Main Stage.

2. Open the Collaborate panel and select Participants. Select More Options at the top of the panel. Select Detach Panel.

You can find more information on the recent updates to Blackboard Collaborate at Blackboard Help's Collaborate Update – March 2017 ».
